"Injustice Anywhere is a Threat to Justice Everywhere."

-Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

It is impossible to have justice for animals when there are still many people who do not have justice. It is impossible to work for justice for one group of people or animals without trying to help other people or animals.

Environmental problems disproportionately affect people of color. As Isra Hirsi, a young environmental activist, said, "[...] it is so important to make sure that those that are disproportionately affected by climate change be at the forefront of the issue, advocating for ourselves and our communities."

Racial Justice and Environmental Justice are intertwined, and it is impossible to advocate for one and not for the other.

We at To Save Animals stand with George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arberry and the Black Lives Matter Movement.

It is time for change.
